We will like to officially announce the passing away of our dearly beloved Mother, Chief (Mrs.) Bisi Olateru-Olagbegi who slept in the Lord on Thursday 17th of December 2015 after battling with a prolonged illness .

WOCON visit MDA s in OGUN State

WOCON team visited the Ogun State Federal Ministry of Labour and the State Ministry of Women affairs and social development.

The visit was aimed at renewing WOCON's commitment to the empowerment of women and children's right. The controller of the FML, Mr. Fatoki warmly welcomed the team, lauded their efforts in the enforcement of women and children's right and pledged their continuous collaboration with the organization.

WOCON Lagos Office received researchers from College of William & Mary with AidData teams from United State of America, to gain more insights for better understanding on how policymakers access and use data to improve programming and resource allocation targeting vulnerable children, including refugee and migrant children, child laborers, and victims of human trafficking with all other forms of exploitation,

WOCON Paid an advocacy visit to the Ogun State Ministry of women affairs and Social development and the Federal ministry of Labor to further renew her commitment to the empowerment of women and children.The cordinating director of ministry of women affairs and social development in person of Mr. Olumide Sotubo and the controller of the Federal ministry of labour in person of Mr. Deji Fatoki received the WOCON team with open arms , lauded their efforts in the enforcement of women and children's right and pledged their continuous collaboration with the organization.

WOCON Lagos Team paid an Advocacy Visit to the Force Intelligence Board

In observance of Worlds Day Against Child Labour, WOCON Lagos Team paid an Advocacy Visit to the Force Intelligence Board (FIB) at the Force Headquarters at Kam Selem House Obalende. Present in the House were 20 FIB Top officials of the Intelligence Unit who listened with rapt attention as the Director of Programmes spoke about the very sad state of Child Labour in Lagos State and indeed Nigeria.
