To raise awareness on the endemic nature of violence against women and girls: rape, teenage pregnancy, incest, early marriage and forced marriage.
To sensitise about the facts and myths of human trafficking and the control tactics.
Today 18th Oct.2021, Women Consortium of Nigeria (WOCON) was at St. David Anglican Primary school Okesuna Lagos. To sensitise the pupils of primary 4 to 6 on the reason girls need to learn digital skills to transform their lives, for personal development, for learning, to stay informed and safe and earning a living.

WOCON has been engaged in various programs and activities for the enforcement of the rights of women and children particularly the Girl-child in Nigeria since its inception in 1995. We are also strong advocates for the entrenchment of sustainable democracy and good governance in our country.
