International Women’s Day Outreach at Balogun Market – “Give to Gain”

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Women’s Consortium of Nigeria (WOCON) carried out an outreach at Balogun Market, engaging women and girls on the theme “Give to Gain.”

The outreach focused on the power of collective support, community, and empowerment—emphasizing that when women uplift one another, everyone benefits. Through meaningful conversations, we encouraged women to embrace solidarity, share knowledge, and create opportunities for growth within their communities.

As part of the engagement, WOCON also distributed sanitary pads to women and girls, reinforcing the importance of menstrual health, dignity, and access to essential resources.
This initiative reflects our continued commitment to empowering women at all levels and fostering a culture of support, inclusion, and shared progress.
