This session will take a critical look at interlinkages between climate change, human trafficking and irregular migration by enhancing women’s leadership and participation skills.

 

Discussants will highlight issues around Gender Dynamics of Climate Change and Violence against women and girls, human trafficking and migrants smuggling. The Panel will analyze the continuous exploitation of innocent and unsuspecting women and girls who continue to fall prey particularly in rural areas where non-existent or limited internet access has continued to rob them of limelight and information, linking this with solutions and recommendations that will push them further into achieving the platform for action
